Delete your Kintra account

You can delete your Kintra account at any time, either in the app or by emailing us if you no longer have the app installed.

In the app

Open Kintra, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. Your account is deleted right away.

Without the app

Email support@usekintra.app from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Kintra account”. Include your username if you know it. We’ll confirm the request came from you, then delete the account within 30 days and reply when it’s done.

What gets deleted

Your account, sign-in methods, and email address
Your profile: name, username, photo, and profile style
Your friends list, friend requests, and availability
Your notification settings and the devices registered for notifications
Your memberships in circles (you leave them)
What you added to other people’s plans: RSVPs, votes, attendance, vibe-check answers, carpool responses, bring-list items you added, and polls you created

What stays, and why

Plans are shared with other people, so some of what you added stays for them:

Plans you host stay for your guests. If the plan has a cohost, they take over. Otherwise past and scheduled plans stay in everyone’s history without your name, and plans still being planned are closed.
Expenses you paid or shared in stay so everyone else’s split still adds up, without your name. Poll options you suggested stay the same way, and bring-list items you claimed go back to unclaimed.
Photos still in use on someone else’s plan or circle (for example a cover you uploaded) stay until that plan or circle stops using them.

Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a short time before they are overwritten. Deletion can’t be undone. If you come back, you’ll start a new account.
