Terms of Service
Welcome to Kintra. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Michael Matar (“Kintra,” “we,” “us”), and they govern your use of the Kintra app and website. By using Kintra, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who can use Kintra
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kintra. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into this agreement.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Please give accurate information and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
When using Kintra, you agree not to:
- Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, or infringes someone else’s rights.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- Send spam, or collect other users’ information without permission.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Use Kintra to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create in Kintra, such as your plans, messages, answers, and photos. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and share that content as needed to operate the service, including showing it to the people you invite or share it with. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to share it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
5. Beta service
6. Third-party services
Kintra relies on third-party services (for example, the sign-in provider you choose, and our hosting and email providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Termination
You can stop using Kintra and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to for legal, security, or operational reasons.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kintra is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kintra and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of Kintra after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
